It's not often that I get the urge to write to my elected officials. This is one of those times.
Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy is trying to pass an amendment to S.1011, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act Amendments Act of 2011. The changes within this amendment will allow the federal government to have warrantless access to our e-mail.
If you don't think this is a good idea, then contact your U.S. Senator.

Let them know that you favor the United States' Constitution and due process of law and don't think that warrantless access to every citizens' email is appropriate and lawful. Law-abiding citizens should not be subjected to this abuse of power. Let them know that you're sure that they agree with you.
